Feminine Hygiene Training

Joanne Tanner, 11/18/2020

On average, girls in developing nations, miss 40 school days per year because of a lack of feminine hygiene supplies. Casseus Duronel and his wife, Emmanuella, were able to participate in a Days for Girls Training in Cap Haitian, Haiti. This training helped them both understand the function of male and female reproductive systems, in order for them to teach this information to the men and women in Fowozoli. Every woman and girl who attends the education class, will receive a Feminine Hygiene Pack with re-washable sanitary pads, a waterproof case for soiled pads, 3 pair of underwear, biodegradable towelettes and safety pins to hang pads when washing and drying. (No donations were used to pay for this training).
