On average, girls in developing nations miss 40 days of school per year because of a lack of feminine hygiene supplies. Pastor Casseus and his wife Emmanuella, traveled north to Cap Haitian to participate in a Day’s for Girls Training. This training helped them both understand the function of the male and female reproductive systems, in order for them to teach this information to the women and men in Fowozoli. Every women and girl who attends the education class will receive a Feminine Hygiene Pack with washable sanitary pads, a waterproof case for soiled pads, 3 pair of underwear, biodegradable towelettes and safety pins to hang pads when washing and drying.
